3RD SUCKLED CALF PRIZE SALE

There will be four classes as follows:

Class 1: Steer/s born after 1st March 2017

Class 2: Heifer/s born after 1st March 2017

Class 3: Steer/s born 1st October 2016 - 28th February 2017

Class 4: Heifer/s born 1st October 2016 - 28th February 2017

Entries in each class can be in single or groups of cattle. Prizes will be awarded to the calf/calves selling for the highest amount in each class.

Total prize money will be £200 with each class winner receiving £50. In the event of a tie, the prize money will be shared.

DISPERSAL SALE OF BEEF SUCKLER HERD


Truro Market - Wednesday 1st November at 12 noon approx.

Sale of Beef Suckler Cows & Suckled Calves (69 head) on behalf of Messrs T.F. Vague & Son removed from Trewince Farm, Stithians for convenience of sale.

34 Beef Suckler Cows & 34 Calves + 1 in-calf cow. Limousin (x18), British Blue Blue (x10), Simmental (x4), Charolais & South Devon Cows all PD'd to Pedigree Limousin - Chytodden Ignition or Pedigree Charolais - Harrismill Ivan due to calve from 25/02/18, some of the older calves to be sold separately but otherwise with dams, the calves by the Charolais or Limousin bulls and mainly March/ April born calves with some May/June. All the male calves have been castrated. Plus 1 British Blue x cow due December to Charolais.

The Auctioneers highly recommend these cattle, the cows being mainly big-bodied, well-fleshed types, the calves being super shaped, quality and well grown. To be sold in the Store Cattle ring at 12 noon approx. following the usual sale of store cattle.
