The Station Master's House is set back from the road and from many of the rooms within the property there are lovely far reaching views across open countryside. The property is ideally located within a rural yet accessible location just a short distance from most main amenities.

The house, we believe, was built in 1884. The present vendors have subsequently extended the property to provide four double bedrooms, two with en-suite facilities, excellent reception rooms and a very useful annexe with lounge/dining room, kitchen, double bedroom and shower room. There is a large garden and ample parking for several vehicles. An area of the garden includes a section of the original railway platform and track/siding. In the garden there is a very useful studio/office with potential and a secure detached garage/workshop with access onto the lane. A separate gated access leads to the additional area of garden and ground which is fenced off from the main garden and was the former railway compound/loading area.

In all a unique property which, within the area, is a well-known landmark of some significance and most certainly requires a detailed interior viewing to fully appreciate all that it has to offer.
