SITUATION
Treven Farm is situated in a quiet rural location approached off Treven Lane which is accessed off Steppy Downs Road, approximately mid-way between the village of St. Erth and the B3302 at St. Erth-Praze which either leads to the town of Hayle or to the village of Leedstown and then to the town of Helston. The popular village of St. Erth is about 1½ miles away and provides good local amenities including church, primary school, pub, shop and Post Office. The main A30 is about 2½ miles away providing easy access to the east and west of the County. Hayle is about 2½ miles away offering an extensive range of facilities including health, leisure, business, schools, supermarkets, retail park inc. Marks and Spencer, car garages, rugby and sports clubs and mainline railway station to London Paddington. The famous miles of sandy beaches and dunes at The Towans and Gwithian are just north of Hayle and are popular with surfers and watersport enthusiasts.
The farm is situated in rolling countryside and in a renowned farming district where land is considered suitable for "early or double cropping" or for horticultural or arable use. There are many nearby country lanes and bridle paths which are ideal for walking or riding out.
THE PROPERTY
The traditional stone farmhouse briefly comprises: rear entrance porch, shower room and wc, large farmhouse kitchen/dining room with double Aga, study, spacious lounge with feature inglenook fireplace and deep set windows, front entrance hall, sitting room, at first floor level there is a large landing, three front bedrooms, linney rear bedroom and family bathroom. The farmhouse retains many original features and would benefit from some updating and improvement.
