The properties are situated in the rural hamlet of Truthwall on the northern outskirts of the town of St. Just, the most westerly town in Britain, and close to spectacular stretches of the rugged West Penwith coastline.

The historic Crown Mines with their spectacularly sited engines houses set down on the cliffs are close by at Botallack. The majority this section of coastline is owned by The National Trust and provides superb coastal and cliff top walks. The area is designated as a World Heritage Site and there are some sheltered coves and beaches.
