The long narrow block of land to the east of Viaduct Lane has a path running through it to the footbridge, past the old water treatment works. This land is mainly level and lower lying.
The steeper land to the west of Viaduct Lane contains the remains of two small quarries and is covered by mature and semi-mature trees including mainly Beech and some Oak, Sycamore and Ash. Please note that this land is steep and parts are potentially inaccessible. The quarry edges are not fenced off. The western and southern boundaries are Cornish hedges.
